Procedures for Nomination and Selection
A future IFLTA “Teacher of the Year” must first be nominated to (and then selected by) the appropriate constituent organization (to the AATSP or to the ICC, for example) before being considered for IFLTA’s “Teacher of the Year” award. This form explains the procedures and deadlines for making a nomination, regardless of the nominee’s world language or level of instruction.

2018 Deadline: Each organization should receive the names of their candidates before the month of April, so that the Nomination Form can be submitted to the ToY Committee Chair by the first Friday in April (April 6, 2018).
Print out this form in order to make your nomination to the appropriate constituent organization. You needn’t restrict your nominations to people in your own world language!

Guidelines for Preparing the Portfolio
Those who have been selected “Teacher of the Year” by their constituent organization may elect to prepare a portfolio for submission to IFLTA. Only then will s/he be considered for an IFLTA “Teacher of the Year” award. Guidelines for preparation of that portfolio are in this form.
It is very important to comply with the due date. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
DUE DATE of Portfolios is the last Friday in July (July 27th, 2018).
